Coleman's Quest For College is an educational board game designed to provide 8th and 9th graders with some early awareness of the opportunities afforded by higher education. The game was created by Gina Coleman, former Associate Director of Admission/Director of Diversity Recruitment at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Coleman created this game in 1999 as a reaction to the inequalities she observed between public and private schooled children in terms of preparedness in the college search and application process.
Today there are Quest for College board games in use by students in 26 states: AR, AZ, CA, CT, FL,GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, MS, MT, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, AND WI.

Data Reporting: All Schools/Educational Outreach Subscriptions come with unlimited data reporting. You can request reports on the usage of the game by your students and how well they are performing in the three major areas covered in the game (the college search, application and financial processes). We can generate reports by your entire population, by grade, by class, or simply by group of concerned students.
Customizations: Any educational organization can have additional questions created and loaded into the game. These questions can be specific to the higher educational opportunities offered by your organization or geographic area. These questions can also be specific to the type of student population you serve.
Example: Girls Inc., in Pittsfield, MA customized their subscription to include questions specific to grants, internships and institutions geared towards the achievement of women in higher education.
Customization is a one time cost of $1500 in addition to the cost of an annual subscription. If your organization decides to renew their annual subscription, the customized questions will be included at not additional cost.
